because they think that all females should feel this imaginary oppression of theirs and want to fight to rid the world of men. And we don't, so they hate us more then they hate men.

at first somebody would nicely be an anti-feminist with out being a misogynist. I wager you would be disillusioned if I addressed a question to feminist/baby abusers. after all, I do have self belief that component of the reason we ask is as a results of the fact a number of your perspectives want explaining to make experience. to illustrate, i won't be able to understand the way feminists will say that this is their physique and there selection whilst it consists of abortion yet they do no longer seem to care that "their" selection impacts a minimum of two added human beings. So it would not make experience on the face of it why your selection is the only determining ingredient in what is going to happen with the existence of two human beings for no less than the subsequent 19 years. Why do you think of human beings that disagree with you will desire to stay remote from you? Does it make you uncomfortable to would desire to describe your positions?

Speaking for myself, it doesn't matter either way. Everyone's entitled to believe what they want. However, I always find it so odd when women are anti-feminist, and I know others who claim feminism feel the same way. I don't understand it I suppose, and I look at it as a slap in the face of the women who worked hard to allow all women a voice in the first place. While I don't care what others do, in my mind, I just wonder how anti-feminist women can be so ungrateful. I guess one of the achievements of social movements is that it does allow people the right and ability to disagree, which is not a bad thing. For me, yes, I have a harder time accepting women who are anti-feminist than I do men.

Hmm. I can't say for anyone else, but I think I'm more p!ssed off at the guys. I'm thinking right now of Ann Coulter's recent statements that women shouldn't have the vote. My reaction to her is that she's so obviously ridiculous and stupid, because who on Earth is that self-defeating? That sort of thing is easier to dismiss. I think I'm more upset by a man saying something like that for a different reason. Men are still more powerful. It's something along the lines of why black people can say the n-word, but it sounds really, really extra-foul coming from a white person, or why gay people can use the words "f@g" and "dyke" much more easily than straight people. There's just too much power on one side of that equation.

I have seen the anti feminist women here openly attack the feminists. Look at the posts about deidre and how lala who obviously is off her meds attacks her. The same goes with St. Alexandra who obviously only has never had anyone pay any attention to her except in answers. I would say the opposite is true. Maybe reword your question to ask why they are so hostile towards others women who don't share the same values as them. To me that speaks volumes.

This is the first time I've decided to express my feelings (in this forum) regarding female anti-feminists. Some are definitely not going to like what I have to say, and that's o.k. (We're all entitled to our own opinions!) I don't feel hostility toward female antis, but I do feel a great sense of frustration. Female antis seem to assume some very false things about feminists. They think we don't care about our families, or our children, and that we are selfish. Not true. They tend to accuse us of not being spiritual (or religious), and don't seem to understand that there is a difference between the two concepts, and that many feminists are highly spiritual people. If we weren't, would we care about equality? Humanitarianism is an issue that involves spiritual thinking. Just because some of us choose not to follow Christianity does not mean that we are not spiritual, or that we lack morals or values or ethical principles! I'm frustrated toward female antis because I think that they have been operating under false assumptions about feminism, and perpetuating these assumptions. Feminists aren't telling stay-at-home moms they "should work", we aren't telling them how to run their homes, or what religious principles they should live by. But it seems that they are doing this to us! I get a little tired of their self-righteous, judgmental attitudes. I try to be patient with them. I think many of them are young, and because of their youth or the lack of experience in the world, they don't understand what feminism is really all about.

We, the female anti-feminists are betraying them, that's true. When in reality we the anti-femininists don't agree with them; they don't like it when we disagree with them. No sirree they do not like it when people disagree with them; gets them a chomping like you wouldn't believe. Now, since we're already on this fine subject of betrayal; I do not believe in equality, except for that which is already naturally so. A man pees I pee so on and so forth.. My asking for equal pay is like biting a gift horse in the neck; besides who cares..women want to work let them do so. Further more; I will not stop, even if I could, those who seek for equal rights, it's none of my business if that's what they want. I can only follow my own path. However, I am against the unjustifications feminism has caused both males and females, mostly males. Another thing since we are still on the subject. I got my first violation notice. Which shows you how far this hostility can go. What needs to be known here is I gave that answer on purpose. I got what I deserved; I said what I thought is all. The rest of the world need not know, not out of shame out of pride.
Edit The Ms.:Your opinion about my being off of my meds is respected, yet an oldy; although, I must say I disagree. Well, to each his own I guess. You will receive no email from me on the subject matter of your post to this very fine question.
Also if you annoy me I will block you, for now you can have you can have your fun; it's the least I can do. God knows you need it.
Let me think is there anything else that I need to add? Nope, I've said all I meant to say. One more thing I'm not rating anyone in this post. There's no need, however I have come back and added a few more changes.

Yep. It's like a black person opposing equal rights for Blacks. Women who put down feminist ideas of equality, its struggles and accomplishments, disappoint me far more than any man doing so.

I understand those who want to distance themselves from the label because they don't necessarily agree with everything it stands for, but I don't understand how one can be a woman and not want to be treated as a human of equal value.

Oh its true alright. I'm not really against feminism but I think it is outdated and unnecessary in American society and for that some really hard core feminist dislike me seeing me as part of the problem and not the solution.

Perhaps. If so, it's probably because we expect more of them, and they've failed completely. And also, as Zikiru put it, a feeling of betrayal.

I don't really care if a woman chooses to live her own life barefoot in the kitchen, pregnant, quiet, and submissive, but some of them actually come in here and say that the REST OF US should be legally bound to do the same thing...now that's what hurts.
