Forrest Gump.
Before you roll your eyes, let me explain why.
The movie explained all that was going on during that time frame from VietNAM to the Watergate scandal.
Forrest Gump was an inspirational character, though he was as dumb as a fencepost. He saw everything from such a simpler point of view.
Also, the movie had such great quotes. (I'm a quote freak.) Like:
"Life's life a box of chocolates... You never know what you're gonna get."
"God's mysterious."
And the ever famous, "Run Forrest! RUN!"
Forrest Gump's a classic for all the right reasons.
:]

I don't really have a favorite above all movies.
But today or at least this week,
my favorite movie is EVITA,
mainly because I think Madonna
was excellent in the role and
I've always admired Eva Perrone.
And the music was so great.
I really wasn't aware that
Antonio Banderras could actually sing.

A river runs through it.
just a good movie, it shows how two people with the same background can be so different. in a way it kind of blows peoples theories about how certain people were raised reflects the mistakes they make when they are older out of the water. people are really just their own person.

Pirates of the Caribbean 1,2, and 3. Because they are funny and exciting and touched me in a way I can't explain. All I know is I am obsessed to the point where everyone that knows me thinks I should be locked in a nuthouse. That's ok, give me my computer, pirates movies and Jack Sparrow poster and you can do whatever you want with me.

Wow. There are so many, but I really loved The Princess Bride.
Because it was a love story and funny at the same time, and either you empathized and loved the characters or hated them, or in fact, like and disliked some at the same time (Vizzini). :o).
