I don't think it's "Woman" or "Ethnic" I think it's ridiculous far fetched carrots being used to gain votes that's going to be the end of them! $5000. for a baby! As if we don't have welfare generations enough! And don't tell me there are not manipulative parents out there who would guilt the kid into forking it over at 18! And the children's insurance is all "too good" it will allow 60thousand and 80thousand a year family's of 4 in States of high wage like New York and California to go to the State and for the State to petition for "waivers" to allow "certain" families that say they have "this much above poverty" however--"can't meet the needs of family and have medical insurance". So they will get medical coverage, but the people on Social Security Disability who fall in the cracks will still not qualify for medicaid and will have to seek mercy from the County they live in while the rich get medicaid and drive up in Cadillacs much like the goings on of the Welfare "players". I think the Democrats are being so outlandish that they are going to have people scared to death of what will happen if they get in! We need some stable insightful diplomacy here, we surely are not getting it!

I do not think that the Democrats are setting themselves up at all. Quite the contrary I think it is the other way around. This is the year 2007 and not 1907 why not a Woman & an African American? We can't be that backwards can we? Say it isn't so!

I don't know. If I see a real Republican (not a phony like Guiliani or an irrelevant like McCain), I'll get worried about Democrats' chances.

I think it's time for a bi-partisan ticket, to tell you the truth.

The libs are more concerned with producing icons, making headlines and breaking with tradition than supporting a REAL candidate in the run for the White House so, this is what you get.

Yes, they are, as usual.

With every passing day and with every imbecilic remark the dems are indeed setting themselves up for defeat.

Fred Thompson in 2008!!!

So the cross dressing thrice divorced mayor says it..... If he was so good at predicting stuff why did he put the terrorist command center in the buildings most likely to be hit by TERRORISTS Rudy is an IDIOT. Right now just about any Dem ticket is going to smoke the Republicans in '08

Its sad that WHAT they are is a problem. Its WHO they are that matters. And I don't support Hillary Clinton because of WHO she is. not WHAT she is.

P.S.
Kucinich is pretty good, but I think Ron Paul is a better choice overall.
