Don't know the age of the children, but how about The holly & the ivy, Toyland, Winder Wonderland, Santa Baby. The Cherry Tree Carol at the following http://www.ccel.org/b/bramley/carols/home.html

OR
Christmas For Cowboys
S. Weisberg (c) 1975
Tall in the saddle we spend Christmas day
Driving the cattle on the snow-covered plains.
All of the good gifts given today;
Ours is the sky and the wide open range.

Back in the cities, they have different ways,
Football and eggnog and Christmas parades.
I'll take the blanket; I'll take the reins;
Christmas for Cowboys and wide open plains.

A campfire for warmth as we stop for the night;
The stars overhead are the Christmas-tree lights.
The wind sings a hymn as we bow down to pray;
Christmas for Cowboys and the wide open plains.

It's tall in the saddle we spend Christmas Day,
Driving the cattle on the snow-covered plains.
So many gifts have been opened today;
Ours is the sky and the wide open range.
It's Christmas for Cowboys and wide open plains.

Wow, you must be in a small town or at a Christian school! Everyone else has "holiday" concerts. I think that "Joy to the World"is a joyous uplifting song that will really energize your audience. OK, it's a song that you've heard before. You could look into a really old Christmas song (I used to have a CD called "A Baroque Christmas" and it was full of songs from Germany, France, Italy and England from the 1500s-1700s.). Most of these songs aren't well known today, but a big drawback might be that the songs are very solemn bc Christmas was a solemn holiday in those days. Part of the pleasure of Christmas is that there are many familar Christmas traditionals so ppl who celebrated Christmas decades ago still see familiarity in 2007. So maybe you could consider a familiar song.

well, I wouldnt go with something most people havent heard....people love the traditional christmas songs and I know I hate hearing some strange song nobodies heard of...yuck. why not try somethings a bit more challanging...like carol of the bells. I love that song and I think it would be fun to learn.

Bing Crosby sang a Christmas song call White Christmas. It is a beautiful song about Christmas. I would bet that only the older attendees will know it.

Newsong-The Christmas Shoes!

Or Mary Did You Know. Here are the lyrics fir that:

"Mary, did you know?
Mary, did you know that your Baby Boy
Would one day walk on water?
Mary, did you know that your Baby Boy
Would save our sons and daughters?
Did you know that your Baby Boy
Has come to make you new;
This Child that you delivered
Will soon deliver you.

Mary, did you know that your Baby Boy
Will give sight to a blind man?
Mary, did you know that your Baby Boy
Will calm the storm with His hand?
Did you know that your Baby Boy
Has walked where Angels trod?
When you kiss your Little Baby,
You kiss the Face of God!

Oh, Mary, did you know?
Oh, Mary, did you know?

The blind will see, the deaf will hear,
The dead will live again.
The lame will leap, the dumb will speak
The praises of the lamb!

Mary, did you know that your Baby Boy
Is Lord of all creation?
Mary, did you know that your Baby Boy
Will one day rule the nations?
Did you know that your Baby Boy
Is Heaven's Perfect Lamb?
This sleeping Child you're holding
Is indeed the Great I Am! "
