An Affair to Remember with Deborah Kerr and Rock Hudson.
Where she was supposed to meet him at the Empire State building. As she got out of the cab she was hit and paralyzed but did not contact Rock. Of course he thought she changed her mind. After a year perhaps he found her, went to her apartment where she was lying on the sofa with her legs covered. She acted like she didn't love him and when he got up to leave he saw through a mirror to the bedroom ,her wheelchair. So he realized what had happened, they talked and lived happily ever after.. A real tear-jerker
Young Frankenstein when Igor 's lump on his back changes from one side to the other every time he enters a room.
Clint Eastwood's Make my day
I have many more but won't bore you. LOL

"The Great Escape" - the ending where Steve McQueen comes back into the prison camp after being arrested on the run. The other prisoners tell him how the escapees have all been shot. He doesn't say a word. The camp commandant says, "Cooler". A fellow prisoner throws Steve his baseball catchers mitt, and Steve walks into the cooler and starts throwing the ball against the wall..... ker ....... thump.....ker.....thump. The prison guard looks rueful, and that awesome theme music swells.
The hairs on the back of my neck stand on end every time. They are doing it now.
My favourite movie, full of memorable moments, but when I think of it, that is the scene that really encapsulates it for me.

"Play it again Sam" A woody Allen title often confused with a quote from Casablanca. Bogart's words were actually something like: "You played it for her Sam You can play it for me".
The Skatman Crothers song was "As Time Goes By". A big hit for the times, recorded by most every famous singer including Billy Holiday.
Casablanca was a great movie about a man in a battle with his consience who, in the last heroic moment, did the right thing.

"Play it Again Sam" Casablanca. The line has stayed with me ever since I saw that movie. Just a moment that sort of stood still.
Only one that has actually stuck in my mind.
