This forum is strange. People are attracted to avatars also. I had a friend here several months back who used a picture of David Duchovny as her avatar. She got love letters from girls every day!
I've had mail from tom cats that would curl your tail.

I feel as young as my avatar looks (except for early in the morning). It is just normal human egocentricity to assume everyone you deal with (as long as you have no info to the contrary) is around your age (which is why I suspected you were older that you look the first time I saw you, lol). You can always make an older looking viking ;-))

I used to have the really young-looking avatar, and everybody answered my questions with, "Get off this site you dumb 10 year old" or else I got e-mails from paedophiles.

Yes, I just got a gripe out message from one user, as if I was some young rich punk american. im a broke 28 year old overweight father who is statistically speaking over-the-hill.

I am fairly young, so it doesn't matter to me. I did see someone mistake a 64 year old grandfather to be around 21.

I guess these days people have just enough sense to know that i'm not actually dead.
But, I am blue. Coloring defect in this experimental mistake...they haven't made a comic book/cartoon about me yet.
