I'm a 15 (16 in November) year old boy and things like girls and sex don't interest me that much my, friends keep treating me like I'm some sort of freak and call me all sorts of names like *****. am i normal.

Looks like you may receive a great education and great job, then look for that lucky girl.
Tell those guys to back off, you know what they you are doing, they don't. Some of them will end up in bad situations, like it or not.

That's ok! My friends used to laugh at me all the time because I have only ever had one crush and that was when I was 14. They all started noticing boys at frickin 5!! Don't let other peoples opinions affect you. You are totally normal and when you're ready you'll become interested in girls. At least you know you aren't gonna get some girl pregnant before you even turn 18!

Yes, you're absolutely normal! There's no rule in the world that says you HAVE to be obsessed with sex when you're a teenager...too bad not all guys are like you. Those people aren't your friends if they don't respect your beliefs.

people tend to jump on any band wagon they think most other people are on. most 16 year old boys think you are supposed to be interested in all the things you mentioned, truth is you are interested in the things you are interested in and that's that. It doesn't make you one thing or another and if your friends are calling you names and giving you a hard time about it maybe they aren't friends at all.

Sure. You just have feelings that run too deep for shallow kiddo relationships.
The standard reply is, "I'll know her when I see her."
Personally, I think it wise to wait and start relationships late in college or even after. Education is SO important, and marriage or living with others often results in education being abandoned.
