"Always make sure to put on clean underwear in case you're in an accident." That is so lame. If I'm in an accident, there is every chance that my underwear will not be clean even if I did put on clean before leaving home.

the element Deion (who has by no potential been somewhat vibrant) would not comprehend is that each and every physique 3 QBs on Philly's roster have been interior the final 365 days of their contracts. the three possibilities Philly had have been those: a million) commerce McNabb and get fee for him, and placed your faith in Kolb who has the arrogance of coaches and gamers already. 2) sign McNabb to a sparkling contract extension. this might only approximately somewhat be longer and extra costly than ideal for a 33-365 days previous QB with injury subject concerns at the instant. it would additionally advise that Kolb may well be misplaced because of the fact there is not any way he might re-sign. 3) shop McNabb, yet do not re-sign him. this manner you are able to convince Kolb to re-sign, yet McNabb might walk after that 365 days devoid of reimbursement. seen that way, i don't see how any sane man or woman can % something yet #a million. The Eagles have been given a 2d rounder and a probably third rounder next 365 days (it somewhat is a 4th which will become a third rounder according to VERY possible overall performance marks). The Eagles did the clever element.

I never did like “you’re the apple of my eye.” Do I look like a frikin apple DAD? I'm a tomato!

Sorry... my chihuahua Snuggies is trying to tap something out in morse code... Oh, okay snuggies. He says he doesn't much like the saying "Sick as a dog." A saying I actually do like but have yet to find a true opportunity to use is " Even a stopped clock keeps the right time twice a day." I actually did use it once because it was going to make me look so very witty and cool but it did NOT work and made NO sense in the conversation.

Others I just don't get: Never eat meat in front of a jeep. And finally: When you’re asleep, you’re not actually dead.

edit: By the way, the category you put this in is all wrong, ALL WRONG. What they HAY! Ah, shucks, just kiddin' mam. We loves ya.

It means that people would do anything for love, by any tactics necessary. But I'm with you on this one -- it doesn't always hold true. If I stole my best friend's man because i thought he was a hottie and that we might hit it off: I can't just lean in and whisper, "hey, all is fair in love and war" and walk off. 'Cause that isn't fair, to her. It would really suck and would be a super $hitty thing to do.

another stupid phrase:
"He wants his cake and to eat it too".... well duhhhhh. why would i want to order a delicious dessert and just stare at it? I understand that it's meant to allude to wanting more than you can/should have, but seriously, it's retarded.

I loved the Beatles ....still do.
John's "All You Need Is Love" is charming, idealistic and childlike....Just like John.......
Was it a hit? Yes.
Did I enjoy listening to it? Yes.
Do I think that is all that is required to make things work? No.
At this MOMENT, as I say it out loud, it reminds me of a Liberal's mindset. I say this NOT to evoke a fight with anyone.....It is just what came to me.

In re: to "All is fair in love"........ That would indicate that infidelity and back stabbing are permissable and even natural.
Well....I have to disagree.

In all that I do and in all that I hold dear to me, I am reminded of the word, "honor."

"All's fair in love and war."

I kind of agree with it, actually. In love and war, there aren't really a set of rules to follow. Well, in modern day war they SAY there are rules, but there is still chaos so I doubt those rules are anything but on paper.

"Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones."
It was a phrase of "sound" advice often given to me by my mother. I spent weeks in the library researching the origin of this phrase and it turns out it was an old latin parable that was incorrectly translated. The true saying actually is "Those who live in grass houses should not get stoned." It fooled even my spellchecker!

Incidentally, all IS fair in love, Silva! Just ask the OJ Simpson jury!

My first girlfriend Peggy was light-skinned and blond-haired. I'd say that's fair in love, eh?
