With the talent they have, and in the weak East, they should be in the playoffs. It would be a disaster if they fail to make it.

Not only will they make it, they will be a forced to be reckoned with. The question the is, will they be able to win it all with such aged players. It's not crazy to think that Garnett, or Allen, or even Pierce could get injured for a long period of time. But, barring injury, a healthy Celtics roster, to me, can beat any team in this JV league we call the Eastern Confrence. GO MAVS

hm...they will probably struggle within the lowest ranks..but the could barely make it into the playoffs. even with garnett and allen, they still need to adjust to the trades and stuff. They need to know how to play as a new team. i'm sure they'll take the 8th spot during the playoffs

Of course they have an improved chance. In fact, if they do not make the playoffs, then they will have failed completely as a franchise and someone should be fired. 8 teams make the playoffs from the East. It is the easiest thing in the world.
