No, but I ate at a restaurant years ago,(the place is still around) the waitress removed the food from the table and placed back in the kitchen area to serve again, and she ate some of it too.
Our health department is lax here anyway!
Lots of local hang-outs I don't eat at.

yeah, if i knew who it was and if that piece hadn't been touched.... i wouldn't off of a complete strangers. You wouldn't believe how many times customers that you will know will give you their food if they aren't able to finish it. I worked at a high end restaurant and if they didn't eat any of their steak, just the veggies they would tell me to take it home or ask one of the other servers to have it.
