Gift bags are good for hiding the shape of something. Sometimes I'll put a CD or book in a box to change the shape or wrap it in newspaper to make it seem soft instead.

Get a container larger than the object you are wrapping. Put it into the container and put lots of paper or those styrofoam peanuts, or something to make the person think there's something else in there. I've done this before, and it's so much fun having them trying to figure out what the actual gift is.

I love to wrap odd presents to fool people.One idea is for the very small items,put cd in small box and wrap up.Then put that package in a box a little bigger,you can stuff paper around it,wrap that one up,then do it over and over.drives them crazy,but they always love it.I pull this on someone every year.I also once put a bag of dirt in a box with a shirt and fooled my boyfriend,he thought it was a stereo.

i did this once i got a big box and inside was a smaller box then a smaller box then so on and in the last box was the cd it was kinda expensive but it was funny when she was opening it it took like 10 min

either put in a bag with lots of tissue paper, or do the layering box technique, where they open box after box and finally get to your gift

This is wat my dad did for my parents anniversary
He took a medium sized box and filled it w' sweets and chocolates and then put a smaller box and put more s and c and each time the box kept getting smaller and smaller and my mum was fairly annoyed but then after 7 boxs the smallest was a jewelry box that had a sweet lil gold chain w' a gold pendant that spelled love inside a heart.
