Because my parents won't lemme buy one over the internet and I found an Apple Store near me.

You can buy one there, but there's also the issue of whether they're available. They're in high demand.
Call the store and find out when they'll have them in, what time would be the best to arrive to give you the best chance of receiving one, and then get there even earlier.
When I asked at the Apple store in Burlington MA 2 weeks ago, they said each delivery was sold out within an hour.

Of course you can buy an ipod at the Apple Store... 60% of store sales are probably ipods.

all apple store sell all current apple products and can help you get them serviced too. they will tell you about insurance too. To double check call the store you found.

i could bypass with the Apple save. the guarantee is the comparable in the two places, even though it appears like each time i purchase something at ultimate purchase, there is something incorrect with it. My first iPod had to be returned to ultimate purchase two times.

DO it! You can get a insurence if ur ipod touch gets damaged :) go to youtube and check the unboxing the ipod touch :)
