about closing my account because of a stalker,Should I do that? What do you think I should do?

create another profile first with no relationship to your other profile. Go into your current profile and make your contacts and your questions private right now. Start working your new account but let stalker see you answer one or two on your old one. If harrasment continues close the account and tell your friends who is bugging. Everyone can flag him and yahoo will close his account

If you feel that he might be able to find out something more about you, like where you live etc... then yea it would be better to close it, but if you just want to block/ignore him that might be good enough, or try telling him in an email that you don't like it, maybe he doesnt even know. If you do close it just remember to write down the contacts you have that you wish to keep. =) I hope I am one of them, you ask and star very good questions that I would never see otherwise.

Report him/her to the community guideline people first. As hard as they are on violations I am sure they'll take care of a stalker!!! Change you avatar and screen name too!! Don't leave us, we'll all miss you!!!

Why don't you report him/her? If (s)he's lurking around all your questions/answers, you can make those private. Or you can out him/her everytime he/she answers after you. Put a little blurb in your profile that if you look mean, it's just you telling your stalker to leave you alone.

FIRST BE SURE THAT YOU INDEED HAVE A STALKER, I FOUND-OUT THAT'S IT CAN SOMETIMES BE THE WAY THE QUESTIONS ARE (FEED) TO A PERSON THUS MAKING IT SEEM LIKE SOMEONE IS FOLLOWING YOU. I PERSONALLY HAVE HAD THAT HAPPEN TO ME........ I WOULD SEE THIS PERSON NO MATTER WHICH WAY I TURNED. THEN I CHANGED THE WAY I WENT ABOUT DECIDING WHICH ANSWER I WOULD ANSWER NEXT.............PROBLEM SOLVED!! THIS PERSON (MAYBE) THINKING THE SAME THING ABOUT YOU??? ASK........

Have you tried blocking him?? I've had to do that with a few troublemakers!! Have you let Yahoo know that it's going on?? It makes me angry that good people feel the need to be driven out because these crazies feel the need to do these things!! I hope it can be worked out so that you don't need to go!!
