I was wondering if i could use my hp computer moniter on my ps3. It is a 19 inch widescreen flat panel. Also if i am able to use this moniter can you tell me where I can buy a cable to connect from my ps3 to it.

The monitor has a DVI port, so you should be able to use a HDMI (on the PS/3) to DVI cable to link the two.

One caveat, the HP does not say that it supports HDCP encryption, so any Blu-Ray disk you play on the PS/3 is either not going to show up, or is going to be down scaled to DVD quality (or lower).

If you are looking to buy a monitor then I would get one that supports HDCP so you can watch movies in HD (A bigger screen that is 1920 by 1200 will support 1080 line HD for a really HD picture)

if the PS3 has a VGA port, then yes, but you have to make sure the moniter u have has a VGA at the end
