Burning incense means there is something else going on, a little pot smoking perhaps. I don't smoke so I would always be with someone else. I hate the smell of incense by itself, it's too strong.

I only burn incense when it's been raining and the smell of cat pee from the house being sprayed oh-so-many times by neighborhood cats starts permeating my air space. I don't care if anyone is here or not.

It doesn't really matter to me. But my family prefers not to be around when I burn it because they don't like the kind I burn. Also, my one son has Asthma and it irritates him. So, I can only burn it when he is at school or gone.
