I live in Texas, it's almost against the law not to at least own a pair.

Unfortunately I have to say that I have actually worn Cowboy boots. Back in the late 70's when it was trendly. I always felt that they were so uncomfortable lol
Never again, even if I'm up on a horse.

Yes, and have been for 50 years. I have a pair of ropers that stay in a pair of overboots so when it snows or the corrals are muddy I'm ready. I have a work pair of ropers and a going dancing pair of ropers. I have a pair of underslung heel boots with a spur ridge for riding horses and a pair of Pro Babies for dress up. I also have three pairs of Horseshoes (a boot-tennis shoe combo) and a pair of Ariat steel toed boot-shoe combos that I wear when sorting cattle or messing with the horses to protect my tootsies. But if you think I have a lot of boots, you ought to see my husband's collection!

yea i actually did
for part of my life i was raised in a city
a very urbanized city (detroit) and you cant get any more city than that
(probaly nyc but hey) so i started to go horseback riding
i needed a change from the taxis and rap music and tower buildings
and so to fit in i got cowboy boots
like these shiney silver ones so i wouldn't stand out
but unfortunaly i didnt know they were supposed to be brown and already worn in before you got there
it sucked that the hott cowboy guy laughed at me because he knew i was trying tooo hard
i was the joke of that farm

Back in junior high, I rode horses for about a year, or so. So, yeah. I wore the cowboy boots. I traded them in for a pair of Converse.

Cowgirl boots were really big when I was in grade school. I remember begging my mom to buy me a pair!! That was in the late 80's. Ever since this time...no! hehe

Yes, I have a pair cowboys boots and sometimes I use with jeans. It's very sexy!!

I wore them the summer i worked on dude ranch they hirt the whole summer til i got them wet they seemed to fit better after that? i was 16 and i thought they looked cool and didn't fall off like tenny did! that summer were warmer too, i think the size was 8 and i know it was hard to find my size at first.tred on womans shoes they were to tight... fianally found a pair in golden colorado on a trip to Coors plant... some Tomy lamas i think...
