I would take it as a compliment because they didn't call poo-poo! Have a great night, Hey did you know we are neighbor's in our states? Go hog's Go! Give your family a hug

I'll bet it was an old woman that said it. Am I right? It's just an old word that people have used in a sweet way. Poopsie, doopsie.... that sort of thing. Whenever in life you aren't sure take it as a compliment! You'll be right more often than not. Honest! Oh, sometimes a person will say it if they can't remember your name... like sweetie, honey, etc.

Its an old fashioned term of endearment; probably doesn't mean poop unless directed at a baby. However, I'd rather be called someone's "tootsie wootsie" which is also an old term.

Either way, in your case, it would definitely not be a compliment. Tell this person they're going to have to try harded than that next time. If there is a next time?
You mustn't allow people to poop all over you.
You have to demand more respect. lol. Peace.

I guess it really depends on the context, but most likely it is just a term of endearment--like 'honey' or 'dear'.
