So this homeless enters the store where I work and asks if he can use the bathroom, so I let him....
probally seeing that I was nice, he started taking advantage of me, he asked for food, for money, and ride....I mean I may be good-hearted but I'm not dumb...
then he asked me if he can use the phone, he started beggin and I felt bad for him so I let him as if its not a long distance call...
he calls his wife(I think its his wife because earlier he told me that he broke up with her and like he was speaking foreign language in the phone but it really sounded like he was threatning someone)
then he said to me if she called back, just hang up...
that kinda creep me out because the phone has a caller ID, and I dont know what he might get me into
should I call the cop and let them know or ignore it and move on?
The homeless doesnt sound so bad but something tells me it wasnt a good idea to help him

A lesson to be learn you can't help everybody> if you ever feel uncomfortable about something don't do it, that is a red flag

Don't feel bad about helping someone. If he took advantage of you (or tried to) it means he's a scumbag but that doesn't change what you did. Help people for yourself, cause you'll sleep better at night knowing you're a better person.
About the call, I honestly don't think anything can happen, if it was in another language and it was in a public place (meaning many peoples may have had access) I think you can prove your innocence just fine... But if you want to be sure, you can tell a cop just to make sure you took precautions. You can never be too careful, as they say.
Hope nothing happens and congratulations for being a nice guy...

If you feel uneasy, have a word with your local friendly cop, and next time you are asked for the phone, say you left it at home charging, or you lost it, or whatever, but you have learned a lesson now - that you are too nice and trusting for some of the advantage-takers out there. You can still be nice and polite, but remember that his problems are his to deal with - not yours. Don't get sucked in.
Can you change the number with a new sim card?
Good luck !!!

That stinks! Don't call the cops yet. I would call your phone company first and explain what happened and ask what you should do. If the guy did make threats the cops would go to the phone company for information also.

My penguin can borrow my trac telephone every time he needs. He in basic terms has to purchase the minutes for it. That fortunate b*stard gets to have Saturday nights out on an identical time as I take a seat on the settee crying into my tub of ice cream attempting to snicker on the dry jokes on Saturday night stay.

No need to call the police. It is a shame though that your helping someone less fortunate has left a bad taste in your mouth... Hopefully not for long though.
Best of luck.

I would call the cops. The homeless are usually grateful for anything you do for them, they shouldn't have kept begging. If his wife does call back...talk to her and find out what is up.

I would call the cops. If something bad happens to either of them, your phone # would come up, and you could be a suspect.
