The evidence against Iran is very strong. The fact that the Iranian ambassador to Iraq is a former commander of the very unit that is leading terrorist attacks inside the country now may be coincidental, but it is very suspicious. It is not unusual for military officers to become diplomats, but it is a peculiar coincedence in this case. The involvement of the Revolutionary Guard Quds force in the insurgent attacks is beyond question. They are there and they are attacking US troops. It is a lousy situation. Iran knows we don't want to start a war with them so they attack without fear of reprisal. They do not even deny that those captured and killed are their soldiers. It would not be surprising if they were bold enough to have their ambassador leading their attacks. And we will do nothing about it.

Gen. Petraeus got to where he is by total conformity with the views and opinions of his civilian bosses. The Officer Corps of the United States Army are total whores who would sell their Mother to get their next promotion. Where are George C. Marshall, Omar Bradley, and Dwight Eisenhower when we need them?

Petraeus is about as simple minded as bush. Always changing his story. Can't believe him anymore than I do bush. They are both liars.
