well, i'm married i live on my own, i still pay my bills, i make very little money. but my 1st year in college they made a mistake and gave me all this gov assistance so then i apply for this year and i get nothing. because in 06 i was making good money i had 2 full time jobs. so they said i need to get a student loan, so i did but there is no interest on it, because its paid by the gov. you should go and talk to one of the advisers. most schools have programs that help pay for stuff.

I'm sure it can be done. My children asked for vrtually no help, but in Ireland the system is different from US - grants are means tested and not everyone qualifies, but college fees are free

start part time. it's a slow process, but it can be done. plus, there are truly accredited on-line courses you can do. good luck!
