I want to buy my first hobby railway set? Where do I start???????

Just a hobby I want to start with, any help ppl?

You should start by assessing how much space you have. If you have a lot of space, HO scale trains are fairly cheap, and there are lots of accessories to go with them. You can buy some pre-made sets or you can buy everything individually. But the pre-made sets are not all that expensive, and you get a lot for your money.

I don't have a lot of room, so I use N scale trains and accessories. I bought a book of layouts for about $5 at a train show, and that has helped me figure out what I need to do to get a lot of stuff in just a little bit of room. Of course, you can modify anything about them...and I do. That's the beauty of train sets!
