I have been to Florida several times. I have stayed on the East Coast and the West Coast and none of the times have I seen or had anyone at the hotels tell me about them when I ask. I know there are jellyfish in Myrtle Beach, SC. I found that out the hard way. But just ask the person at the hotel or where ever you are staying about the dangers at the beaches.

Jellyfish are in the wates on the coast at all times. But only during migration and mating do they get in the real shallow waters and become a nusance to swimers.
