I need to have lots of guys want me and I need to be in a position to reject them. But I'm a nice person, not bad and wouldn't do anything intentionally terrible.
I guess everyone likes to feel pretty and feel wanted but what's my issue, narcissism or low self-esteem? How to tell the difference?

It depends on the lengths you will go to attract guys and get attention. You are most likely not narcissistic - if you were, you would not WANT to make guys like you, but would rather TELL everyone that ALL guys like you, and would begin elaborate lies to back up such a statement.

You may be a bit histrionic, but that is also unlikely, especially if you actually are a fairly well grounded person otherwise. Best advice I can give you is to give yourself periodic peptalks - remind yourself why you think you are a cool person and of value to society. Hopefully you can wein yourself of your need to validate yourself through others. If that doesn't happen, you'll still be fine - I am, and I have similar tendencies that you do.

you are not crazy to want this.... to be honest I think it sound more like you've been hurt in the past then either low self esteem or narcissism, when I have guys who like me then I feel wanted and loved and for some reason i find that i believe in myself more .... also ive found that there is no chance of feeling lonely when there are a bunch of guys to choose from, it keeps the options open so that we dont have just one person and in turn dont run the chance of putting everything on the line, because if you put all you have on the line then there is a high chance that they will throw it away and we will be hurt, dissapointed and lonely.... if there are a bunch of people around then you can just go onto the next one.... there is nothing worst than a broken heart... hope ive made sense

Low self-esteem Narcissism would be if you know for a fact that your the coolest and best looking person you know low self-esteem is when you think the exact opposite but being told that you are makes you feel better.

A narcisstic person takes things way over the edge,
They do not care how theri behavior affects others.
They dotn have the ability to empathize, they have no compassion. It is litereally all about them,,,no chance to get close to them....very shallow people

The fact you asked,,,,I would say you probablyare not narcissistic... We all have a few tendancies at times but a true narcisstic individual,, it is their way of life and generally does not occur to them to evan ask...

you most likely have low self esteem, or just the need to have others acknosledge you
