If you'd eaten a dozen raw eggs, I'd worry, but a fraction of an egg in a brownie mix isn't going to hurt you. Don't worry about it, you'll be fine.

Dont worry about it....you'll be fine.

If you get stomach flu symptoms down the road, just remember to tell the doctor. Its kind of like letting the horses out of the gate then worrying about it.

Salmonella is the only thing you might get from raw eggs....check the web for symptoms of salmonella so you know if you come down with them, the doctor can treat you for it.

EGGS FROM A SHELL CANNOT BE PASTURIZED!!! If you used egg substitute, that is pasturized, and you are probably safe. But if you cracked an egg and added it, you may have (probably not) exposed yourself to salmonella.

Do you know ANYONE on the face of the planet who can trace a sickness they suffered to raw eggs?

I thought not.

You dont want to do it all the time, or risk it again, but its not like you're going to drop dead or lose the baby. I actually ate cake batter and cookie dough because I craved them soooo bad at the end.

You'll be fine. Its only when the eggs have been washed before packaging AND left out in the warm.

I think you're safe. Salmonella is the big worry with raw eggs, and the cause of all the hype, but is only found in about 1 in 20000 eggs. At any rate, salmonellosis (food poisoning) is usually mild, and not dangerous to your baby. Should you become ill, call your OB and fill them in. Dehydration would be the biggest concern, and not one you're likely to be faced with.
Congratulations, and best wishes!

Just as long as they were fresh eggs you are fine. And you only ate a couple of teaspoons you should be fine.

If you ate the whole mix - you might be in trouble.

not bad at all. when i was about 20 something weeks along, i was craving brownie mix. i made brownies just to lick the spoon & bowl - i didn't even care about the brownies themselves.

you'll be okay & so will your little one :)

most milks and eggs are pastuerized nowadays so I wouldn't worry unless it says free range or organic on the cover.

It depends if there were any diseases in it, like salmonella.
I wouldn't worry about it unless you start feeling sick, then call a doctor.
