gave y ou. Well, mine came back also as it is not
an email address but a website address.
They have fully protected themselves from
disgrundled users in that we cannot talk directly
to anyone in authority.
they are the bosses and we are the stooges.
They make the rules, they interpret the rules,
we play by the rules, or we're out. To hell with
all of them. I'm gone outa here. this is a sad day for me.

This may or may not affect the overall picture.
Yesterday I read in the Seattle Times that Yahoo is slipping financially. They are losing
their grip on the big 3 market i.e.google/ebay/
yahoo. They have a new CEO who has a limited time to show some exquisite marketing
strategies. If they keep up their BS,I don't
see "Answers" making a very great ad mkt.
You all are so sweet, I will stick around till
the fat lady sings. AAAAAAAAAH! Oh God,
I miss "eyes" tonite. I feel like my best friend
just got the shaft. Trolls beware

Okay, this is what I've done. I went to this question

and then went down to the bottom of the page and clicked on the "Tell us what you think" link at the bottom of the page. And then I filled the form out, and added this in the explanation box...
The person who submitted this question: http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind... is a friend of many of us here on Seniors. We enjoy participating in her ongoing story scenarios, and have a lot of fun doing it. And yet, today this person who the majority of us love seems to have had her account suspended. This is outrageous, and so unnecessary! There HAS BEEN an ongoing problem with a troll that seems to have targetted us JUST BECAUSE we enjoy ourselves so much with these stories. But that is not the fault of Eyedontnose. Please get whoever it is that makes these decisions to reconsider this suspension. It is not at all fair that we lose a much loved contributor to our Seniors section, just because of the actions of a troll with multiple identities.
If you want to copy and paste that explanation for yourselves, be my guest. We need to get Eyes back!
It IS a valid way of registering our complaints with Yahoo. And if enough of us do it, we just might be able to get Eyes's account back for her!
EDIT!!!..Mountain gal. I didn't realize that the link would take you to the Canadian version of Answers, but it only stands to reason, since I live in Canada, that this is what I would see.
Anyone who wants to post using an American screen can go to that question themselves. As far as I know it is still there.
What I actually wanted to tell people was that one of our number has had an email from Eyes. She says that yes, her account has been suspended, and that she will talk to us all later. I don't know what is meant by that, but I thought that even that small bit would make you all feel somewhat better, as it has me.
I guess that now we all should just await developments.

Stay put!!! I have been dragged through the mud backwards on here but I have also met the loveliest group of people as well.
At first I felt as you but now I say NO!!! Why should WE go.
GW is absolutely right if we leave the field the trolls win and so I wont go.
I hate bullies I have stood up to them all my life and I ain't changing now.
EDIT: I got an oops to!! Maybe yahoo doesn't want to hear from us. I have sent a protest to the 'tell us what you think' last time eyes got bashed but only got back a standard reply thingy. Haven't heard anything more.

Hello all, this is Goldwing, from Washington DC...going home tomorrow. Trust that it will make no difference what we do, who is appealed to, the account is dead...I have seen this before with people who had 67,000+ points,best answers numbering in the 1000's, but with enough violation notices, it is banned. There was a huge furor in another section over this same thing, there were at least 10 of the best users who left in disgust....nothing was accomplished...and won't be. Yahoo does not care one whit. IF whoever is having fun at our expense with the reporting, then I say let them. BUT do not let them win, for if you withdraw from this site, you hurt only the good people here. NOT THE TROLLS! In fact, if you withdraw, the TROLLS win! Is that what you want?
Eyedontnose needs to open a new account immediately and just keep on writing...IF everyone here thinks about it just a little, the problem has an easier solution than mass leaving the site....I am just back and I am reading about this kind of crap! Pissed off, YEP, you bet I am. But I suspect it will not take a genius to figure out who is trolling here...they have had it in for eyedontnose for some time...and she has it narrowed down to only two....Phil

Good Lord! what's going on in here??????? I'm so sorry to hear about this mess and the suspension.
This is just my 2 cents worth. But it's my belief that the greatest revenge is "not letting go". I'm a pit bull when it comes to determination. So I have no intention of leaving here; I hope all of you become more determined to carry on this area and your camaraderie.
I still say ignoring people is the best punishment. The more you highlight and give attention, the more power you give away from yourself.
Stay focused on this area, and the feelings you all have for one another and eventually the bothersome party will leave for lack of attention and ability to stir up trouble anymore.

I'm staying, and so should you.....as well as everyone else. I also did what Irita suggested but Goldwing is right...if we all leave, then we give this person exactly what they want. I've been on and off quite a bit this last month and haven't a clue, but honestly have to say that I'm not savvy enough to catch it anyway. Like Luvs, I have no idea who to avoid...so I'm just going to tip-toe around and hope not to become another target. Keeping my fingers crossed that Eyes comes back, whether she gets reinstated or she reincarnates herself under another name. What will we do without her imagination and tales that take us to far off places?????
Edit..just received a note from Yahoo saying they received my feedback concerning Eyes and will review it shortly. Should I be optimistic or are we just going thru' the motions??

I sincerely hope nose comes back this time....it's got to be hard; they just suspended her a couple weeks ago didn't they? Now again? !!
Crying daggum shame! Wish Yahoo! would just do a separate forum for us that allowed more 'discussion' and wider latitude ......but then no genie has arrived to grant me my fondest wishes!
STILL don't understand why this has to be...but then I agree with what some have said that it is less the automation of Yahoo than it is the trolls who trigger that stupid automation. The internet has given birth to a new avenue for warped people who cannot stand the daylight and need to spread evil and mayhem to happy people!

Try emailing customer service abuse acceleration - does anyone have the email address for this? I have often gotten an answer from them answers-abuse-escalations@cc.yahoo-inc.com
That would be cc.yahoo-inc.com Interesting it wont print the whole complete address even when its copied and pasted, its like yahoo is programmed to not let you post it anywhere
They have responded to my emails about 75% of the time, put in ATTN SUPERVISOR in the subject line -- and hope for the best.

Sorry to say; I have been away from this site for several hours & just found out about this crap.
This dragon is royally Pi##ed.
If I have to turn every stone over on this world, I will find out who has done this to our beloved Eyes.
Then the sh** is going to hit the fan.
I have gotten 5 violations in one day & highly expect to get booted off myself at any moment. But that WON"T stop my search for the bit** that has caused all this crap.
You can put money in the bank on that one.

I tried the links, but got an 'oops' and Canada answers site too. I was going to write a note on her behalf, but I agree all of us quitting will just make whoever is doing this happy. I have no idea who it is, so I don't know who to avoid. I feel sorry though for anyone who spends their time hurting others. I believe she will find a way to come back to us, I suspect you can't keep our friend down long. So please stay and we'll all be here to welcome her back together.
