If you mean a Compass Rose...which is a nautical term.
its WxS or West by South
if your using a 32 point compass rose.
But if your using an 8 point compass rose
it would be Southwest or SW.
If you are using a 4 point compass rose its south

If you are doing the four directions, then south...but intermediately, I'd say southwest...
