How can you say you were disappointed unless you are a huge gator fan. LSU was ranked #1 in the nation while the gators where barely holding on to a spot in the top 10. LSU played very hard and showed taht they hard more heart on saturday night and then wanted to win it more than the gators did. To be honest the whole game comes down to intangibles. les miles was 5/5 on 4th down conversions and those really made the difference. Also, urban meyer should have taken a timeout with about 1 minute, 16 seconds left instead of waiting until about 40 seconds. With those 40 seconds they could have spread the offense out instead of going long the whole last minute.

The Florida Gators have not defeated the Miami Hurricanes in 26 years. That streak will end this Saturday. this is not basic, this is not sparkling cut back, no remember what any Gator fan would say. i'm a Gator fan, and that i understand ending a dropping streak as against one group that long will take sturdiness and exhilaration. i think of the Gators have those 2 issues, and that i think of they are going to win this Saturday. we are able to learn plenty approximately what style of job Randy Shannon is doing in instilling the previous delight Miami used to have. we will additionally learn something relating to the Gators, and in the event that they could make yet another run at a countrywide championship. Make little doubt approximately it even with the undeniable fact that, the Canes will fall interior the darkness of the Swamp Saturday evening.

Florida handled the Tigers for almost the whole game. Florida had some bad plays in the 2nd half and got tired on defense and LSU took advantage and with some gutsy 4th down conversions. LSU won the game but was not the better team that night.

trackstar probably said the dumbest thing i have heard in my life. There is NO WAY that LSU showed more heart. UF wanted that game more than its fans. They were screwed by calls and other things that made it unfair for the gators. It's hard to win when pass interference isn't called during crucial parts of the game. Florida deserved that game. LSU didn't. But what happened, happened and I hope LSU wins it all now. But were they the best team on the field last night? NO. Did they want it more? Abosolutely NOT.

Oh, the fans even more disappointed than Gators fans are.... fans of my Golden Bears (we could have been #1 for the first time in 56 years). I know LSU is a really good team, but I couldn't help but hope FL would help us out there... especially with the Trojans losing to the one team we hate even more than USC. Damn I hate StanfUrd... THEY'RE NAMED AFTER A DAMN TREE! Not the Catholic Cardinals, not the bird, BUT THE TREE! Who the hell is named after a tree?

They handed LSU the game in the fouth quarter. Two turnovers, not stopping LSU on fourth down, bad decisions by Tebow, etc. cost them the game.

They outplayed LSU for damn near 50 minutes.
