There is a Mustang in my town that has straights on it, and every time I see or hear it go by I want to RAM it with my truck.
Sounds awefull !! Never heard anything sound so bad in my entire life.
But that's just my opinion.
I use Flowmasters myself.

It will be loud. Maybe too loud. The police may not like the sound either. Go with a set of low restriction mufflers. A lot of guys at the Ford plant have put FlowMasters on theirs and it has a good sound that is not loud enough to cause you pain with the law.

good luck.

It will sound like straight garbage..... my freind ran straight pipes on his 2001 GT and after 20K miles he had to have new heads put on because he burnt 4 valves in each head.... I told him he would do that. You need an exhaust system that will create enough back pressure so you dont burn valves.... go with high flow catalytic converters and flowmaster 40 series.
