I just don't feel safe enough to see that man one more time. He forced me to marry him last year. Now I am out of US. We don't have kids/finance conflict etc, the paperwork is quite simple actually. But I just don't want to see him anymore. I would not feel surprise that he will shoot me then. Can I find a lawyer do this totally on my behalf with a reasonable price? It is in Iowa State. What should I do?Thanks!

Leaving the country sounds final to me getting a lawyer you will have to respond by way of correspondence and possibly your appearance which will lead to your location and/or your seeing him again. If he forced you to marry him, now you have forced him to be married to you without you. Best to you.

Yes, the lawyer could represent you telling the judge the reason.

Yes, contact a lawyer and talk to them! You need to get away from there and be careful, from what you said this guy must be a very dangerous person! And if you move, you should move out of state and tell NO ONE! I’m not kidding, please take care and be careful!

First, go to police to look for protection if you return to USA; and after, under security, look for a lawyer.

File the simple paper work and never go back.
