Not sure about elbow or knee, but there are other parts of the anatomy used to describe people too.

the "Heel" - is the bad guy in a plot

a big "Head" - means one with an inflated ego

hot "Head" - someone with a bad temper

loose "Lips" - someone who talks a lot

the "Muscle" - the strong one of the group

all "Ears" - listening intently

all "Thumbs" - lacking hand dexterity

butter "fingers" - clumsy with one's hands

two "Left feet" - awkward at dancing

"Bold Faced" - someone being blatant

"Nosy" - kinda self explanatory

"pain in the butt" - also self explanatory
