Take any job to make a start. We can't expect to get the perfect job first time. Once you have been employed it is much easier to change jobs than it was to find the first one.
Pretend that you like the job. Turn up on time and give the employer a good impression. Then when you find something better you may get a good reference.
The world does not owe you a living you have to go out and earn it so get off your **** and make an effort.
Your mother has done her best for you, it's payback time. If that goes against the grain then don't be surprised when she kicks you out

It can be difficult to get a job but you need to be looking and being patient. At the same time it's good to develop skills by going on courses which will assist you in finding a job. There's a lot of people who'd like to 'sign on' forever but you need to be working for your money...no-one owes you anything...so get up and do something for yourself. And shame on you for calling your mother a slag...says a lot about you!!

Son...you make my life difficult. Like many here I am paying you so you don't go hungry....
......you then come on here insulting us by asking for various excuses so the benefit agency will "keep me signin on for a wile."
....why don't you get on your butt, off that bloody computer and get yourself a job. There are plenty of them out there....and boy, some (including myself) complain about immigrants but at least many of them want to work...take a few lessons pal...
...oh and learn English...you may one day need to communicate in that world we call reality!

Youre only allowed a certain time period to find a job you 'like' eg one youre already trained in. after that you have to take whats offered, go on a deadly dull useless course, or keep applying for what they tell you to and others besides. If you dont toe the line theyll sanction you.
And why do you want to keep signing on anyway if your mum's bitching all day about it?

Why don't you go back to school and learn how to spell, that would get the Job Centre staff off your back, and it would also give you a new skill to add to your CV. Your mother (who probably deserves a medal for putting up with you) would then have some peace and quiet as well as getting you from under her feet.

I hate the job centre i really do,I had been out of work for some time, and i couldn't get a job i had interviews but no luck
I have a illness which i thought was getting in the way
Anyway why i hate them, they allways put me down saying im lazy and didn't want to work
I hated going in every 2weeks to sign on,this woman allways told me im lazy
anyway ive now got a job and the job centre never helped me to get me it
So i told them what i thought of them
They are not there to help just to put you down
Just tell them your phone up agencys everyday
I know how you feel but you need to get a job asap
Good luck
I would tell you how long i was out of work but im to ashamed
But it wan't me being lazy

No, i only give a thumbs- up to the answers that i feel answer the questions or i like in general. i give a thumbs- down to the answers that are rude, way off the topic, or are inappropriate.

why can't you take a job and see if you like it?
and even if you don't like it get a grip - your mum probably wants you to grow up and to try to make something of yourself, rather than signing on and hanging out all day
innit!

I think you've a great future ahead of you as a fisherman. You've managed to catch a few on here, even with a non-subtle bait. Well done.
