There's no telling. The same thing happened to me. Even after contacting Y!A, they won't give you details. It's like being arrested, being put in jail, and the only reason they give you is "you broke the law". It's retarded. Most likely a few of trolls ganged up and reported you all at once...Y!A doesn't actually read the response/question that got you suspended. Because (at least in my case) you most likely didn't break any rules.

Nobody really knows. Yahoo! has seized too much power and is turning Yahoo! Answers into its regime headquarters. Anyone who disagrees with them and vocalizes their opinion is struck down...take me for example. In the past 2 months, I have had 5 accounts suspended all because I vocalized my opinion. I asked Customer "Care" why, and they did not ONCE respond to me. I learned my lesson not to voice my opinions against Yahoo!, maybe THAT'S why I've been able to keep this account for almost 2 weeks...
Watch, now that I said something anti-Yahoo!, I get suspended tonight...damn the irony!

They will ban you for the oddest things. I asked a question about where I could find some sheet music, and that's how my last account got banned. I know, it's dumb.
You could repeal, but I could guarantee you that it will do no good, but it won't hurt to try, and you'll never know if you can get it back until you do.

i got that because some ppl were annoyed when i asked 'why some bi girls are attracted to me' and the YA never gave me a reason. the big brother is watching you!
