I've held a few monarchs. We have a butterfly garden, so we get a lot of butterflies and caterpillars.

I did! My mom loves butterflys so one day I caught a slow one and called my mom and said "Watch" then I opened my hands and it flew away up into the air! It was so cool. Just like a movie or something!

yes many times!and of course,i let them go at once!they are so pretty!
one time i was sitting outside and a butterfly came and sat on my hand!i was so surprised!!and i was sitting there looking at it and it wasn't afraid,it just sat there too,then it just got bored and took off!:)

Yes I have! It was cool but freaky, I can't explain why. I felt like it was just a gross caterpillar with wings. :(

yeah!! the yellow ones are really hard to catch acuz their fast.. but i caught one once!! i like catching monarchs an then releasing them =^-^=
