If I am able to do so physically, I will answer the door. As soon as I know for certain what the purpose is and where it is coming from, I politely decline their offer of conversation or materials. I am always polite the first time I say 'No thank you.' If they persist, then I get less polite and more direct. If on my third attempt to end the conversation they still will not accept my decision..then they will meet my dogs up close and personal. Nobody..but nobody is coming into my house uninvited. I have had some pleasurable conversations with Mormon missionaries in the past (and I'm not being sarcastic) but after what I saw during my EMS career...I will not listen to the Jehovah Witnesses.

Actually I invited the lady in. My husband and I listened to all her lessons she came to our house many times. After listening to everything I just mentioned that there were 3 places they changed the King James Version of the Bible. If any one of them were wrong then their whole religion would fall apart. It's okay though there is a new heaven and a new earth for the JW's. We atheists get out own section in heaven. Everyone gets what they want! I have to say she was a very very nice lady and I would of loved to be part of their cult if I could of agreed with what she was saying. She didn't preach any fire and brimstone and the stories were fun to listen to and interesting. What are you afraid of that you might learn something?

Perhaps this questioner intended to ask about "fellows" among Jehovah's Witnesses. At times, a question such as this will elicit dozens and dozens of elaborate schemes to spare a householder an unwanted conversation with Jehovah's Witness door-to-door ministers.

All such schemes are a complete and utter waste of time!

Many of your neighbors have figured it out, and it's really quite simple:
1. Open the door
2. Smile (optional)
3. Ask "Jehovah's Witness?"
4. Receive affirmation
5. Say, "Thank you, but I'm not interested"
6. Gently close the door (slamming is rude, but your prerogative)

Please recognize that Jehovah's Witnesses are not primarily interested in converts, but in working to obey Jesus' command to preach (Matt 24:14; Matt 28:19,20).

I open the door and tell them that I have always been attracted to cute Jehovah's Witness, wink and give them a big smile. That puts them on the run every time lol

I treat them with respect as I would any other human being. If I open my door to them I will acknowledge them and I am never rude. If I don't agree with what they say then I tell them and most times they are pretty good and accept the fact that I have different beliefs. Sometimes you do get the hanger onners who want to preach ...I just tell them that I am busy and have no time to argue the point and quickly say goodbye and close the door.

If I feel like answering the door, I do. I then usually say hello, and ask about their families, what congregation they are in, etc. I am a Witness

Honestly, answering the door to anyone is simple to me, I either answer, or don't. I then either talk with the person or say no thanks and shut the door. Simple.

I ask them if they want to know about Satan. I also ask them to make a donation, we're building a sanctuary in the area and need all the help we can get. They leave pretty quickly.

I open the door in nothing buy my underwear, ensuring that I ogle the female and make it real obvious. This seems to make them not want to stay. If that doesn't work, then the candles and pentagrams that I set out for just such an occasion works wonders.
