I recently had the starter relay replaced my '96 Sea Doo GTI. While it was being serviced, they also replaced the gas tank due to a manufacturers recall. When I was riding today, every time I slowed to idle, a loud and continous warning type whistle began to sound, and continued until I picked up speed. After awhile, I had to go faster and faster for the whistle to stop, and by the time I got back to my dock, the whistle was almost continous, no matter the speed. Wassamatta??

Check all the fluid levels. It's probably low on 2 stroke oil. It probably has a low level sensor that tells you when it is low.
The loud whistle is a warning to you that something is wrong and needs to be checked out.
If it does run out of 2 stroke oil , then you could burn up your engine. Going faster to make the noise stop would not be wise.

Another thing it could be (although I'm not a jet ski tech.) is the fuel filter/water separator. Could have water in it .

Hope that helps some.
