What splits it?

Hmm ... more multiple than split I think. Because I present different aspects of 'myself' to different people, depending upon the situation.
As far as I know they are all (more or less) integrated, even though none is 'me'. In fact there is no 'me'. I'm as changeable as anything else on this crazy planet.

well there has never been a splits for me until now.....
anyway i am a little confused about the exact concept of split personality... so no comments right now....
i will answer this question once i get to know that

Nope, my personality has the need to split now and again, but, in a different definition. As in lets get outta here!

I agree with wood uncut, as far as a true mult. personality by psych standards, no. But I do have different aspects to me, I think even healthy personalities are a little compartmentalized. For example I tend to keep the vulnerable parts of myself neatly out of site unless I really feel safe with you, most will have a different, more aggressive personality when very angry. When my feelings are hurt I will emotionally relate to a childhood trauma that might make me feel younger at that time, but I know that all of these reactions are still me, just different aspects. And thru the years all these different aspects of this thing called personality has changed & grown as I deal with & interact with people, places, & things. Thanks!

Sometimes I think so. Anger splits it. But it's weird, cause it's like I'm standing outside of ME watching ME be an @$$.
