is there any way to switch from normal to professional mode? I just beat RE4 for the third time and I want to play it in Pro mode, but i dont want to give up my items. Anyway to do it? easter eggs, glitches, cheats are ok.

No, when I started over on Professional mode, I didn't get to carry over my items and weapons from Normal mode. It totally sucked, because I had the Chicago Typewriter and the unlimited ammo Grenade Launcher. You may be able to do it with a cheat device like an Action Replay, but I don't use those devices, so I'm not sure.

Unfortunately there is no way to have you items roll over when you start on pro mode, but if you have enough patience and wits you will be able to beat the game in the toughest mode, so give it a try....
I can give you a few advices though, in this mode zombies are tougher to take down so that leads to think you will need much more ammo and there isn't plenty of it like in normal mode, so, you will learn to use the knife very professionally and use your surroundings to aid you and always put yourself on a safeguard position.
