May be because I don't deserve it. I can want $ that belongs to Mr. Hilton, but if I do nothing but want it, i don't deserve it. I may want a relationship like Snow white and the prince, but the best I could hope for is snow white and the dwarf "Doc". I could want a body like.... well...... mine, and at my age, most guys would say Yeah right! But I work hard at keeping fit! It's a goal I can reach. Dirty Harry said it best..... "A man's gotta know his limitations". I know mine, I know what I can possess. I know what I can get, but ruin other parts of my life with. Let me be honest here, and knowing my wife will read this makes it difficult to write. I could accept a few of the flirts I get from work, it could easily go too far. I would have something I want, but, at what cost? Yes, I would lose a happy home and be in financial boredom. But, what would I gain? A moment of thrilled pleasure -vs- a life of less thrill, but, contentment. No, if I wanted a nice flashy red sports car, it would cost my son's college entrance. I'm not that plastic.

I would have to say because I want it on my own terms.

It is the only answer that makes sense.
