Since the question stated "possession" I will say animal, since I do not "OWN" my husband, sons or family members. But we DO own our horses & dogs...

animal....my dog....but ...he...is not a possession....more like a part of the family...
vegetable.....blooming jasmine plants...but that is not really a vegetable...what about pizza....has vegetables on it....
well...think of my computer or t.v....as possessions...because I love visual things....and both of them....have a lot of that...plus the computer .....with the internet....can do things like yahoo answers...

animal - i live in portugal and it seems like everytime we go to the bins someone has dumped puppies so we now have 3 cross terriers aged 6 months had them since they were 3 days old , and 2 cross alsation huskies aged 2 months now.
