Around 8 to 10 hours a day. Don't sleep to much because it is really unhealthy for you. Don't sleep to little because you won;t have enough energy for the day. Everything has a limit.

I think more than 12 hours daily is a little much. That much sleep is wasting time.

You can "get by" on 6 hours, but for better health & brain fuction, you really need 7 - 8 hours every night.
