That sounds about right but usually it should be around 42C

Make sure your cpu heatsink and Fan are clean of dirt.

And also if your using a thermal pad between the cpu and heatsink that could be causing it. I recommend you clean the heatsink and put a good brand of thermal grease on it between the cpu core and the heatsink.

that's normal operating temperature in my opinion.. I have 2 amd processors, one has never passed 40c, and the other usally runs at 70c.. If the temperature bugs you, you might consider installing another system case fan..
