The reason you cannot find it in a dictionary is because the word "souly" does not exist. It would help if you used the word in an example as it would be easier to see the word in context, but maybe your friend meant "solely", pertaining to one of its kind or exclusivity. However, if he's using it to describe the qualities of a soul or some such rot, you should definitely just call him an idiot and end that argument there.

Hope that helps.

You can't find it because the word you are looking for is SOLELY--which means "alone, entirely, or having no one else involved."

"He was solely responsible for the accident."
"You are solely to blame if you flunk the test without studying."

Soully - pertaining to the soul. Song lyrics to 'Lose Myself' by TobyMac...
"And all that I hide, could you bring me to life?
Could you open my eyes and show me?
Take all that was me and shape it to be
Reflecting you soully"

Soulfully
