Israel didn't sign the NPT. Iran did.

The U.S. Government and some of it's allies are hypocrites. They are threatening Iran with war if Iran doesn't stop being involved in nuclear technology, yet they act as if the Israeli state is an innocent law abiding state which hasn't done any wrong. What nonsense!
The American people need to seriously think about how much they want to spend in taxes in order to maintain the Israeli state.

Sorry; I think youi've misread the NPT. We are not required to dismantle our stock and never have been. The NPT is designed to control NEW growth of nuclear powers. We are pleged to look into world disarmament; and we have. Unfortunatly not every one thinks the UN and the NRC can solve the problem yet.

Not gonna happen.More's the pity.
Israel really does own America. They must be laughing up their sleeves at the mind boggling amount of money that pours in to their coffers courtesy of the American tax payer.

I bet if Mr.dinnerjacket called their bluff and said we'll give it up if you do Israel would be in a pickle.

What do you mean by a "nation of laws"?

And while we're on the subject, what law has Israel broken exactly in regards to its "never officially acknowledged but widely regarded as true" nuclear program?

Chi
Har. THAT'll happen when pigs fly...or Zionists. Oh, come to think of it, same difference.
It's like Jabba the Hut (Oh, 'scuse me, Ariel Sharon) once said: "WE OWN THE AMERICANS, AND THEY KNOW IT!"
Happily, I see more Americans waking up to the evils of Zionism and the subjugation of the Palestinian people as a direct result. It's in OUR best interests to elect officials who do NOT have dual American /Israeli citizenship...and there are more of them than you may think.

Under the NNPT the US should be busy enough dismantling its own arsenal.

Why would we do that? Israel should have plenty of nuclear weapons.

They should have a few for Syria, a few for Jordan, a few for Iran, a few for Lebanon...

What Israeli nuclear arsenal?

The official USG position is that there are no Israeli nukes. If there were, we would have to act accordingly, if only to follow U.S. law.

That's why it's called the Worst Kept Secret. Israel is very careful to hint that it has them without ever admitting it openly, thus evading all the sanctions that would entail.

Chi Guy, that’s the stupidest idea ever!

And you’re suggesting that Israel be left to a probably future nuclear (God please forbid) Iran?

Common sense tells all.
