George has said Joe Torre will not have a job if he doesn't win the ALDS. After all this guy has done for the Yankees? I bet the Yankees score about 12 wins tonight to back up Joe.

I'm surprised George hasn't said this before in regard to Torre...........Torre's contract is up at season's end and there were rumors of Joe retiring after this season...........No, I don't think it's right........Joe has been great for the Yankees and definitely doesn't deserve to be fired...........As for 12 runs tonight, from your typing fingers to the Yankee bats.........I hope they hear you loud and clear..............CAT P.S........Please excuse my mistaken..........I thought Torre's contract was up at season's end but I just learned he has one more year on the contract.......Sorry if I caused any confusion.........CAT

No he hasn't! Good for George,Enough is Enough! Everyone in that club make's enough money to be able to get past the First round in the playoffs! no more excusses,Bugs,Pitching,Arod,Exc Exc Exc,If we don't get the job done,Torre has to go! we need someone in there that will light a fire under those lazy @ss players! Joe's just not getting the job done!!

im a met fan i can say george steinbrenner was the best thing that ever happened to the yanks. he brought billions of dallors nd made a great team. even thiough i hate him. joe toree shouldnt go. but then again he did fire and rehire martin 10 times

The Yankees and their owner are cry baby winers, waaaaaah.....
if we can't get our way we will wine and cry, aaaaaahhhhhhh, too bad, face it , your team just sucks!
The Indians pitchers are making your players look like little leaugers....no wining can make you win George, you need players who aren't babies, and maybe time to sell the team to someone who doesn't cry all of the time when things don't go there way!!!!!

he just is tired of losing he spends as much money as possible to win and it gets him nowhere, he needs to get rid of the gm and start to develop players like they did to get this team set up in the mid 90's. When they had soriano, posada, jeter, rivera, these guys was developed in the minors they need to get back to that instead of overpaying for washed up players past their prime(giambi).
