Look for the unexpected. Bobby Lashley or Big Show may come out of the blue with a new edge and villianous attitude to win the title. Or perhaps Chris Jericho but I doubt it will be anyone currently in the running. To keep the storylines fresh they need some knew and fresh face we haven't seen for a while but who are great in ring performers able to make an impact.

I can see three options, two of them likely.
Randy Orton
The buildup for the Legend Killer would go to waste to some extent otherwise.
Chris Jericho
If he makes his return in the current situation, that'd be the way to get most out of it.
The long shot: Ric Flair
Supposedly, he didn't want to retire until early 2008. Supposedly, he'd want one last big program to keep going for WWE. And you know, retiring Flair in a couple of months would look good on the resume of the Legend Killer.
