Children from everywhere in the world have been growing up in Germany. They speak our language, and even weird local dialects without any accent. Some of the many black people who live among us have become soccer-stars. There are black musicians who spent their whole lives in Germany, they came when they were young; now they are grey-haired, old, and wise. Half an hour to drive from my home an Assiniboin from North Dakota is living in an old Low Saxon house, practising arts and crafts when he is not on tour through the country to make American Native music. And you should pack your bags, and come for a language exchange as soon as possible.

I'm German.... and CruzC09 said it really well. otto.saxo is also right.
I know some Africans who came to Germany for studies and learned German. In the lab where I work as a PhD student we had a student from Kenya working on her diploma thesis and she had learned German so well in just two years in Germany that I was impressed.
If people come to live or to study here I appreciate it if they learn the language properly, but the color of their skin is really absolutely irrelevant.
The way you asked that question it seems that you assume that many Germans were such racists that they wouldn't want blacks to speak their language. That's nonsense, I don't know anyone who would feel in such a way.

Like any cultures and places there are racists. Look past this and do not let this hinder what you want to do. I would think most Germans are open to you learning German, but it does not matter. If you want to learn, no one is stopping you.

what kind of question is this.. If I were German I wouldnot care...Think about it...thats like me caring that a Chinese person, or a purple person, or an african, or an alien is learning English....I dont care that they are learning English---it aint my language---its just a language.
Would you care if a German person learned English?
