doesn't grab all your money, doesn't make you do housework....Wouldn't this be Heaven on earth? Be honest, men, don't try to impress the local girls with your answer.

The vast majority of Muslim men have only one wife. Islam has very strict rules about polygamy... there has to be a reason why he has more than 1 wife and he has to be able to support all of his wives and their children. Also, Muslim women DO grab their husband's money because in Islam any money a woman makes belongs to her, and the money her husband makes belongs to the family.

I think you're a little bit ignorant about Islam... you could try blowing yourself up to get 72 virgins in heaven, but most Muslims don't really believe in that.

you know the amusing thing -- some people who were of the Muslim faith and read your response thought you were being disrespectful to them.

I have no idea why this question is in this section -- however, the Muslim view of women, and its MODERN view of homosexuals (take a look at wine boys and at the poetry of Abu Nuwas if you think that the present hatred is the traditional view of Islam toward homosexuality) are both disgusting and gross expressions of fundamentalism, just as the mutterings of the extreme Right of Christianity is.

Why would any person with any knowledge at all, or any emotions, or even any real self-interest want a virtual slave? Your position is one attractive, I suppose, to the lowest possible common denominator of the lowest socio-economic class in America -- but disgusting to everyone else.

Your initial premise is entirely incorrect. The vast majority of Muslim women love their religion and, if you read the Koran, you will find it is flattering to women.

If you are into role playing you play whatever role you fancy but as Islam is against homosexuality, I doubt you would find either partner in a relationship playing a "Muslim role".

What's that got to do with Islam? I'm a Christian and so is my wife. She puts MY needs before hers and likewise, I put HER needs before MINE. We've been married over 38 years and it works just fine.
We put our pay checks in one account and when one needs some, we tell the other so it won't screw up the bank account. Also, we BOTH do house work...wash clothes, dust, vacuum, mop the floors(I do that mostly), fix dinner (I do that Mon-Fri), do the dishes, etc, etc.
Oh, and hoss, I WAS honest. I don't have to impress ANYONE with my answer.
As far as GAYS in Islam, didn't you hear the Pres. of Iran say THERE ARE NO GAYS IN IRAN? Of course not, they kill them! Loving bunch of Muslims, eh what?

They're plenty of Islamic women out there, so your argument is kind of moronic. Secondly Christianity makes them feel awkward about their sexuality and says its wrong to put out before marriage, what's that all about?

when I married my wife I was not looking for a slave or servant. I was looking for an equal.

And no, you foolish, foolish man....I'm not attempting to impress anyone with my answer.
