Although it's a bit late in the year, males can sometimes go off food at breeding time and not eat for sometimes several months. My breeding males typically went off food earlier in the year though and usually refused food for 3 months at a time. I would just offer food every 2 weeks or so, and at some point, I'll bet he just grabs it. You don't say how old this snake is either. If it's around 2 years old or older it's most likely a male. This is especially true if he's been very active and crawling around a lot.

My friend who is a science teacher had a red rat snake that would just not eat for a while. Sometimes it was because he was about to shed his skin, in which case his eyes started looking milky and other times, he was just getting ready to hybernate. Even though he was kept warm, the shortening of the days made him lethargic and he wouldn't eat for several months. Then when the days got longer, he would get more active and start looking for a way out of his cage and we'd know he was ready to eat again. They can go for quite some time without eating, but I'd offer him a mouse now and then just in case he's hungry.

There are two way's you can go with this. 1} is to trick the snake and feed it a mouse first then feed it a larg mouse or rat. The second thing you can do is to go back to feeding it small feed again. The snake might have streched it self out when eating that bigger mouse. If this doesn't work then you might need to go an see some real help on this.

I have several pairs of different corn morphs & they routinely stop eating for no apparent reason. Just provide fresh water & offer food once a week till your snake decides to eat. Also, at this time of the year, they start to respond to the shorter daylight periods & the begining of winter.

Two months is a long time for an adult corn snake to go without eating. There is probably something wrong with the way you're keeping it, or there's something you're not telling us.
You might try feeding it a fresh killed mouse, preferably a smaller size that what it's used to.
Also, carefully review your husbandry of this animal.

when my snake wouldn't eat i was told to put it in a dark warm place for 24 hours so i put it in my closet and put a heating pad next to the aquarium. then i put a mouse in after 24 hours and he ate it.

He could be cold, in spite of how well you think his conditions are. Place a heat mat in a corner, and leave a thawed mouse in there overnight. He should be OK, assuming he is healthy.

The snakes have different time zones like African , and American time Zones so they usually stop eating for 1,or 2 months so you have nothing to worry about.
