I had my front windshield replaced and when I got my truck back the dashboard was cracked and loose and even around the radio. Do they have to do anything to the dashboard in order to put in window. I am going to take it back and have them fix it.

The only thing to be removed when replacing a windshield is the wipers, cowl, mouldings. I could tell you this tho, i seen some dashboard damage due to windshield replacement. This is cause but their elbow when trying to cut the glass from inside or from sitting on the dashboard when applying the application (poly-urethane). If the crack,on the dashboard, is located at the far end near the windshield, then it may be caused by a special tool we use to bang out the corner. That all i could tell you. More likely they will tell you it was like hat before, since you waited. You should have pointed it out right away before you left the shop, but give them a try. Good Luck

There should be no reason to do any damage to the dash. Don't let them get away with it. they will say it was like that when it came in. Stop at another glass shop and ask them about it.
