Just your basic wonderful! Keep in mind that many rural communities don't have indoor plumbing so that means hauling water and using the old honey bucket and then taking that to the dump. There are only 3 main highways in the whole state. You cannot drive to most rural towns. You cannot even drive to the state capital of Juneau! Most rural areas do not have trees or bushes because they are so far north. The loss/gain of daylight gets more extreme the farther you go north. Overall, the water is clean and cold, the air fresh and crisp, the people are great, and life is good!
